I have been speaking with my bf,
he wants me to take on less work. He works evening/night/morning shifts and
I’m gone when ever he is home. On top of that I seem a bit overworked due to the
wedding season that has just passed.

So this means I have time..
so I was thinking I might open up for repaint commissions.
Think I’m good enough and what price would you suggest?

ty.

Usually when a lot of work is put into a custom doll, is around 60-80 dollars. Im getting a custom doll done and its only 80. But it also comes with a small yellow tea dress and a custom matching box to put her into.

Start them at about $50 plus doll costs add more for complex paints, reroots or anything else that takes time.

Including a doll the 50 range is perfect. If they have to send in a doll then it definitely should be less. usually the price of the doll is what the price of the commission is based on. I do think the 25 base for just the work seems like a good idea. Are you in England or where? I'd be willing to send in a doll to be rerooted with a face up :) I usually go through etsy though.. I have a couple dolls here that need a face and I'd love them to be rerooted/rooted. :D

Well,
I don't reroot. As I am just crazy slow,
and 50 usd isn't a justifiable price including a doll for me, as a mh doll here costs 33-35usd. :|
So I'm just sticking with 25 usd for a repaint.
Maybe I should look for a rerooter near me, maybe we can make a deal :3

+ I'm in Europe. The Netherlands.

I agree, you are good enough :)
I suggest you should ask $50 for each makeup, it would be fair I think :)

Ty,
I'm doing a bit less for now.
Make a bit of a name first, I love your photography work.
May I ask which lens you use?

thanks :)
I don't know how to say it in english, I use the default lens that come with the camera (but I don't know if that's the lens or the objective)
is that what you are asking? :s

Yes you are totally good enough!
I just accepted my first commission, so I am sure you will get some. ♥

Honestly, your work is really good, I would say absolute minimum of $40 per face up. Obviously more with body blushing/reroots.
